Services:

Programs include adult education, GED preparation, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), employment and training, food pantries, fuel assistance, housing assistance, early education and care, youth services, citizenship assistance, and elder services. Some ABCD neighborhood sites offer assistance with the Earned Income Tax Credit, tax preparation, and financial literacy.

Referral from Hunger Hotline (800-645-8333) required for many food pantry services. Call M - F: 8am - 7pm or Sat: 10am-2pm.

Downtown office: M - F: 9am - 5pm

Requirements / Restrictions:

Most programs are open to residents of Boston and nearby suburbs. Suburban residents should call and check on eligibility. Some programs also have income-eligibility requirements.

Cost:

Cost depends on the program. Most programs are free. Ask when calling.

Languages:

English, Spanish, French, Creole, Somali, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Bosnian. Ask about specific languages at program or neighborhood office when calling.
