Heading Home offers a variety of services available to women and families. These include:
Shelters & Emergency Services:
Boston Family Shelter – transitional shelter with capacity for 8 families.
Cambridge Shelter – emergency shelter with capacity for 21 individuals.
Women’s Drop-In Program – provides hot meals, clothing, counseling and referrals.
Medford Family Life Education Center – transitional shelter with capacity for 8 families.
Congregate Housing – supported permanent housing provided for men and women with shared living spaces.
Homeless to Housing – More than 100 apartments rented by Heading Home combined with supportive human services for individuals or families in Boston (primarily Roxbury, Mattapan, Dorchester and South Boston), Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Malden, Everett and Quincy.
Scattered-Site Apartments - More than 50 supported permanent housing units for families located throughout Greater Boston.
Permanent Housing Partnership – Permanent housing and intensive services for individuals with disabilities, provided through partnerships with housing development corporations.
Varies by program; Drop-ins allowed M-F: 10am-2:30pm
