Bay Cove Human Services is a private, not-for-profit corporation that provides specialized treatment to persons with drug and alcohol dependency as well as developmental disabilities. There are a number of different programs (residential, outpatient, day treatment, and educational) operated by Bay Cove. Call the main office number to determine appropriate program.
The Bay Cove Treatment Center focuses on addiction and provides outpatient treatments include daily dosing with methadone, weekly counseling, medical assessments, & comprehensive substance abuse education. Case management and referral services are regularly provided.
M - F: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. There are scheduled dosing hours on weekends.
Requirements / Restrictions:
Must be 18 or older. Target population is opiate-addicted IV drug users from the Greater Boston area. Special populations served include HIV/AIDS infected clients, poly-substance abusers, pregnant addicts, clients with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and addiction to opiates, and heroin users who are homeless. Bay Cove will accept most insurance plans or MassHealth.
