Haley House uses food with purpose and the power of community to break down barriers between people, empower individuals, and strengthen neighborhoods.

Food & Meals Programs

  • Soup Kitchen

      • All guests are welcome
        • Breakfast: Tue-Fri: 8:00am-9:30am, doors open at 6:15am for coffee/snacks
        • Lunch: Sun: 2:00-3:00pm
  • Food Pantry

      • Thurs: Tickets distributed at 7am, bags distributed at 10am

Housing

  • Contains 110 units of permanent, affordable housing scattered throughout the South End neighborhood. 24 units are reserved for formerly homeless individuals who stay an average of 8.2 years. The remaining units are reserved for low-income families.

Urban Farming

  • Through urban farming at Haley House, we grow accessible, affordable, colorful, nutrient-dense, flavorful, beautiful food. We currently steward two plots of land: the McKinley School Garden, and the Thornton Street Farm and focus on creating positive, healing, empowering and rich relationships between the people and the land.
